What do I need to do to participate in the Olympics?
First of all, it is necessary to register on the Olympiad website. Registration of the Olympiad participants takes place in the electronic format.
Carefully fill in all the proposed fields (full name, e-mail, phone number, region, city, etc.).
Attention: Only participants of the Olympiad (schoolchildren) should register! Parents should not register for the Olympiad instead of the participant and give him/her the login data.
Do I need to register if I participated in the Olympiad the previous year?
There is no need to re-register, but you should check your profile for accuracy.
If I am a high school graduate, can I enter the competition?
No, only students in grades 9, 10 and 11 are allowed to participate in the Olympiad.
Where and how are the Olympiad competitions of the qualifying and final stages held?
The Olympiad competitions of the first (qualifying) stage are held in absentee format.
For this purpose it is necessary to send (Russian mail, courier service, delivery services) or, if possible, to bring the Olympiad work in person to the Admissions Committee of SPbGASU.
The Olympiad competitions of the second (final) stage are held in a face-to-face format at the University of SPbGASU.
If I send an Olympiad paper by mail or through a delivery service, and the delivery time may be much longer than stated, in what timeframe will it be accepted?
The Admission Committee accepts the Olympiad works by the date of printing of the registration of its delivery to St. Petersburg.
How many works can be sent to the qualifying stage of the Olympiad?
Only one entry will be accepted from a participant for the contest.
I am a winner/prizewinner of the final stage of the Olympiad last year, do I need to participate in the first (qualifying) stage of the Olympiad again?
No, winners and prize-winners of the final stage of the Olympiad of the previous academic year (provided that they continue their studies in secondary general education programs) are allowed to participate in the final stage of the Olympiad of the current year, bypassing its qualifying stage.

Can I make an appeal after I have been through the screening process?
There is no appeal at the qualifying stage.
Does the work have to be scanned or can I take a picture with my phone?
You can take a picture of the work on your camera or smartphone (if the camera quality allows). However, pay attention not to distort the perspective when taking the picture. Try to make a photo with even light (without falling shadows), with reflection of real color rendering and without unnecessary elements in the frame.
Where will it be possible to pick up the diploma of the winner/prizewinner of the Olympiad?
Diplomas of winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad are awarded on the last day of the Olympiad.
The diplomas left after the awarding are kept in the Admissions Office of SPbGASU.
Electronic versions of diplomas are posted on the Olympiad website.
